Jayco Precept 31UL Features
The Jayco Precept Class A motorhome is ensured a smooth ride with enhanced dual stabilizer bars that raise and lower each side of the unit to similar heights, increasing the torsion rate up to two times more than stock stabilizer bars. Bilstein shock absorbers, standard on Fords F53 chassis, reduce bouncing and eliminate excessive sway. A unique mono tube design doesnt trap heat, reducing shock failure. Variable-rate jounce bumpers, positioned under the frame, complement the Bilstein shock absorbers and dual stabilizer bars, completing Precepts smooth ride. The outside of the Jayco Precept features laminated layers of high-gloss fiberglass, lauan, aluminum framing, R-8 bead-foam insulation and vinyl paneling. A seamless fiberglass front and rear cap increases aerodynamics, while the cap adds durability and leak protection where its needed most. Lighter and more corrosion-resistant than competing steel frames the Precept has quarter inch plywood decking.
